"These drawings and ideas for sculpture have roots in my bucolic dreams of the countryside. I was also interested in the made objects and crafts related to farming. Sadly they have been spoiled in a damp loft but are really important to me historically in showing the beginnings of a strong personal imagery in my 20's. I find it hard to believe now I drew those strange rustic figures in such detail."
